In a private ceremony today, Governor Jim Doyle signed into law Senate Bill 107, eliciting thunderous applause among the two dozen guests who played an instrumental role in passing the state’s new electronics recycling legislation.

Senator Miller thanked the group for all of their expertise and determination throughout the eight years it took to enact the legislation. Miller and the Governor expressed a special thanks to the late David Wood who brought the idea of product stewardship to Miller’s attention eight years ago.
