December 6, 2015 Fond du Lac Area Tax Bills to be Mailed by Mid-December

Fond du Lac County taxpayers can expect to receive their 2015 tax
bills in the mail by mid-December. They will also be available to view
and print through the Fond du lac County website by logging onto
fdlco.wi.gov.

Residents are encouraged to pay early to avoid delays. Payment amounts
are included on the payment stub(s), located at the bottom of the tax
bill. Verify that the escrow check meets or exceeds the tax bill
amount and endorse escrow check. Overpayments will be refunded within
four weeks of payment.

Enclose appropriate payment stub(s) with your payment. Mail payment(s)
to appropriate location listed on the payment stub. Include a
self-addressed, stamped envelope, if a return receipt is requested.

Payments for parcels located in the City of Fond du Lac and the
Village of North Fond du Lac should be made payable and mailed to the
Fond du Lac County Treasurer’s Office, 160 S. Macy St., P.O. Box 1515,
Fond du Lac, WI 54936-1515.

Payments for all other municipalities (towns, villages, cities) are
collected by the appropriate municipality. Refer to payment stub(s)
for further details.

Real Estate taxes may be paid in full or the 1st installment is due by
Jan. 31, 2016 with the balance due by July 31, 2016.

It is important to note that failure to postmark payments by the
deadline will result in delinquent penalty and interest charges and
