procedures for criminal cases and cases involving children (Children’s
Code), juveniles alleged to be delinquent, protective services, persons
subject to commitment as sexually violent persons or due to mental
health or drug abuse, and persons found not guilty by reason of mental
disease or defect.
Assembly Bill 124 clarifies when defendants entering a guilty or no
contest plea can challenge
certain evidentiary rulings on appeal.
