Campbellsport Fire Department Fourth Annual Sporting Clays Shoot June 6th, 7th, and 8th, 2014 Proceeds will go Towards the Campbellsport Fire Department Dive Team. Cost $25.00 per shooter per round of 50 targets. What is Sporting Clays? Sporting clays is a fun activity for beginners and master shooters alike. Sometimes described as “Golf with a gun,” sporting clays is a shotgun game in which clay pigeons are presented to the gunner in ways that mirror the flight patterns of game birds. The shooting grounds are laid out in stations with each station representing one type of bird or a combination of game. The key words are unpredictable and variable. Some shots will be surprisingly easy and some bordering on impossible. What is Provided? Explanation of the game, rules and safety instructions Targets and Scoring Prizes for best scores including Individual, Team, and Lewis Class. Silent Auctions, Raffles, Gun Station Raffles Shooters May Purchase Mulligans Instructors will be available Need not be present to win prizes or raffles.
