The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region announces the WIS 45 ramps to US 151 will permanently close at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30. The new US 151/County Road V interchange ramps will open, and the former, at-grade intersection at US 151/County V will closed on Sept. 30 as well. County Road V will close Monday, Sept. 26 for five days as crews construct connections at County V to the newly created roundabouts at US 151/County V interchange. Traffic impacts are as follows: County Road V 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30: County Road V north of US 151 will be CLOSED from 500 feet north of US 151 to Mustang Lane. Access to BP Gas Station will remain via US 151. Traffic wishing to access County V north of Mustang Lane may use the US 45 interchange and follow US 45 north to East Pioneer Road. Traffic wishing to access US 151 from County V may use the US 45 interchange this week. WIS 45 ramps closure 8 p.m., Sept. 30, 2016: WIS 45 ramps to US 151 will permanently close. Signed detours will be in place while access via a frontage road from WIS 45 to the US 151/County V interchange is constructed. Northbound WIS 45 traffic should follow WIS 45 north to County V south to access US 151. Southbound WIS 45 traffic should follow WIS 45 south to County V south to access US 151. US 151 traffic wishing to access WIS 45 should exit westbound WIS 23 to WIS 45 US 151/County V interchange 8 p.m., Sept. 30, 2016: The at-grade intersection at WIS 151 and County V will permanently close. County V traffic should utilize the new interchange ramps from WIS 151 to access County V beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30. Construction of the new interchange began in June of 2015 and will be complete by December of this year.
