This is an advisory question for the Village Board’s information.

Should the Village of Campbellsport:

“Spend the necessary tax money (estimated between $400,000-$500,000)
to increase the spillway capacity of the dam on the Milwaukee River in
order to maintain this dam?”

“Spend the necessary tax money (estimated between $50,000-$100,000) to
remove the dam on the Milwaukee River and allow the river to return to
its natural course?”

 

SCHOOLS

OAKFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT

RESOLUTION TO EXCEED REVENUE CAP BEGINNING WITH THE 2010-11 SCHOOL
YEAR

BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the school District of Oakfield,
Fond du Lac and Dodge Counties, Wisconsin, that the school district
budget for each of the 2010-11 through 2013-14 school years shall
include, on a non-recurring basis, an amount of $700,000 in excess of
the revenue limits imposed by Section 121.91(2m) of the Wisconsin
Statutes for the purpose of paying school district operation and
maintenance expenses.

Question

“Shall the School Board of the School District of Oakfield be
authorized to exceed the revenue limit under section 121.91(2m) of the
Wisconsin Statutes for each of the 2010-11 through 2013-14 school
years, on a non-recurring basis, by an amount of $700,000 for the
purpose of paying school district operation and maintenance expenses,
as provided in the foregoing resolution?”

RIPON SCHOOL DISTRICT

Question I

Shall the following Resolution be approved?

INITIAL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN AN AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED $500,000

“BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the Ripon Area School District,
Fond du Lac, Winnebago and Green Lake Counties, Wisconsin that there
shall be issued pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes,
general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $500,000 for the
public purpose of paying the cost of repairs and replacements
consisting of replacing the high school boiler and repairing roofs on
various school buildings.”

Shall the following Resolution be approved?

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SCHOOL DISTRICT BUDGET TO EXCEED REVENUE
LIMIT FOR SIX YEARS FOR NON-RECURRING PURPOSES

“BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the Ripon Area School District,
Fond du Lac, Winnebago and Green Lake Counties, Wisconsin that the
revenues included in the School District budget for six years
beginning with the 2009-2010 school year and ending with the 2014-2015
school year be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in
Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $500,000 a year, for
non-recurring purposes consisting of replacing textbooks updating
curriculum, updating technology, performing maintenance and replacing
vehicles.”

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SCHOOL DISTRICT BUDGET TO EXCEED REVENUE
LIMIT FOR THREE YEARS FOR NON-RECURRING PURPOSES

Fond du Lac, Winnebago and Green Lake Counties, Wisconsin, that the
revenues included in the School District budget be authorized to
exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin
Statutes, for the 2009-2010 school year by $575,000; for the 2010-2011
school year by $725,000; and for the 2011-2012 school year by $850,000
for non-recurring purposes consisting of paying for classroom staff
and related instructional expenses.”
