TOWN OF ASHFORD – Fond du Lac County, WI

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE RESTRICTING USE AND OBSTRUCTIONS OF TOWN ROAD RIGHTS-OF-WAY, DITCHES, AND EMBANKMENTS 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 4th day of December, 2023 the Town of Ashford, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, adopted an Ordinance Restricting Use and Obstruction of Town Road Rights-of-Way, Ditches, and Embankments, which included repealing former sign regulations. Included are the following topics: 

     SECTION ONE             Permit required for excavations; fee; insurance

     SECTION TWO            Regulations governing excavations and openings

     SECTION THREE         Obstruction of intersections or signs; trees, fences, poles, and other structures 

     SECTION FOUR           Deposit of waste or rubbish on right-of-way

     SECTION FIVE             Structures and construction in Town right-of-way

     SECTION SIX               Violations 

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Ordinance contains penalties and forfeitures for violations of the various provisions.
